In principle, all rooms are ready for occupancy from 14.00 on the day of arrival.

No problem. You have the possibility to deposit your suitcase in a luggage locker in the basement of the Bildungsherberge. You only need a deposit of EUR 1.00 for this. Follow the signs to the seminar room U99.

Arrival is possible at any time. With the information from the booking confirmation, you can access the house and your room card around the clock (even late in the evening or at night).

The room card is issued via a check-in machine in the entrance area of the BHS. You will receive detailed information about this with the booking confirmation by email.

No. We only rent out single and double rooms with private bathrooms.

Yes, you can use our free WiFi throughout the hotel. You will find the password in your room on your desk on arrival.

Reservations can be canceled free of charge up to 8 days before arrival. From the 7th day there is a charge.

No. The Bildungsherberge is a self-catering house. The cafeteria is a fully equipped communal kitchen on the ground floor and can be used at any time. Here you will find: cooking and eating utensils, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, fridges, drinks and snack machine, seating and HD TV.

Yes, the BHS has sufficient free parking spaces for all guests.

Yes, you can conveniently activate our charging station with your own EC card. Billing takes place directly on your account via GLS Bank.
Start of the charging station: 0.35 EUR; consumption: 0.40 EUR / kWh; time: 0.30 EUR / hour. Further information can be found on the information board at the charging station.

You can find out about the timetables in advance at www.strassenbahn-hagen.de. Simply enter the date, time and the desired stops there.

Yes, both are included in the price. The bed is made up on arrival and the towels are ready in the room.

For longer stays, the linen is changed after two to three days and the bed is freshly made. You can cancel the cleaning service at any time by telephone or via the Guestfriend app.

No. Unfortunately we cannot allow you to bring pets (dogs etc.).

The leisure room in the basement of the Bildungsherberge is available to all guests around the clock. Equipped with a TV, radio, sofa area, children’s toys and a book corner, guests can relax and meet other students to exchange ideas.

Yes, there is a baby changing room on the ground floor which is accessible at all times for our younger guests.

The hostel was built with the greatest possible accessibility in mind. We are working on continuous optimization to make your arrival and stay at the Bildungsherberge even more pleasant and safe. We ask our guests to contact the Bildungsherberge office in confidence with their individual needs – especially if personal assistance is required for planning and carrying out a stay.
